And exactly who is whining? I supposed you never heard of Maelstrom being spammed with Mind Freeze. Nevertheless, I have noticed that the Ice Golems are in fact now a random spawn: they do not always spawn in front of the cave or inside the cave. So the W/ME build is still doable when they do not spawn.

Granite Citadel is the place to start.

And my W/Me can take a dozen imps, a few trolls and some siege ice golems at the same time, no sweat at all. Every 15 seconds, "Victory is Mine!" heals me for a couple a 100 life with a full energy recharge thrown in as well.

hum W/ME is stil doable when Ice Golem spawn... and with Glad armor... not a problem. Trolls are even more dangerous but I pull them and when imps stay away they don't cast maelstrom and do no damage, when 2 Trolls are together it's a little harder but not a big problem and I like chalenge ^^

The only problem of this run for solo W/ME is Hyl Thunderwing when he is just after the respawn and when avicara are to close to the imps.

FINALLY GOT MINE TODAY!
after about 15-20 runs.
Was able to switch to W/Me and go solo

so after 15-20 runs you got it, so whay do ppl think that it wont drop on other imps or even outside grotto?? has any 1 tryed like 20 times to farm them?? if so I realy like to know whay A NOT that special sword is dropping only in that cave/? whay not every where, like the firy dragon sword????

I killed the imps outside grotto atleast 10 times testing different builds. Then once I found the most efficient build, I went ahead an did some leveling with berserker scrolls to test out if they can drop IDS. I gained 4 skill points and in all those runs I never saw 1 IDS drop. But if you want to farm there for hours to test it yourself im sure you will get a few shiverpeake keys. BTW i've done 17 IDS solo runs in lyssa's cave and have gotten 8 IDS.

Did 5 runs today no IDS cleared the whole thing. With the newly introduced level 24 golems you have to do a lot of pulling smaller groups do deal with the rust. sux but the run is still do-able. :-p happy hunting

Is there a reason behind why the IDS is still priced at 30k+

even now when we know they'll be here to stay...?

Maybe a stupid question but how do you reach minaral springs without dieng i tried and died 3 times just to get butchered by that elemental with his imps cause the avicara were on my tail.
